DIY lucky charm piñatas for St. Patrick's Day

Is it weird to think of cereal as "adorable"?  ...Because I think Lucky Charms are so darn cute!  I love their colors and shapes so much, that I decided to make mini lucky charm piñatas for St. Patrick's Day this year!  I am thinking about having a little St. Paddy's shindig with my kids and a few of their friends, and thought it would be fun for each child to take home their own little piñata.  Of course, we'll have to include some lucky charm kabobs too!

I have found so many great tutorials for these mini piñatas, so rather than write yet another one, I will direct you to Oh Happy Day.  I will say that the shooting star was a bit tricky, but I traced a little star cookie cutter, and did my best to arrange my fringe within the lines.   If you're looking to purchase other adorable mini piñatas, you should check out the Instagram account of the piñata queen herself...Lisa Frank.  Her work is seriously cuuuuute!  Happy St. Patrick's Day!
